Heading up to Nipissing Sunday for 5 days. Anybody been having luck locating walleye ? If so what's everybody using? Bottom bouncers with worms is my go to but I've heard guys are having luck trolling cranks. Gonna be just outside Callander Bay. Was thinking if heading over to iron island area or mouth of the French if no luck bay area.

Well I came back a day early due to family issues. Fishing was fantastic but the new regulations killed us. Tuesday evening was our best day landing 17 walleye. Every walleye caught was under the 18.1" so all were released. This is the first spring trip I have had at Nipissing without a fish fry. I don't bring fish home but I do like a feed while I'm up there. Until the regulations change I will not be spending my hard earned money on that lake.
