My friends & I are heading to Sturgeon Lake this weekend, I see the temperature is set to drop tonight and stay lower around 10-12 degrees over the weekend. Anyone familiar with fishing this lake/ how the bite might be affected? Or is this temp drop not big enough to cause problems?
I'm thinking that it could slow down, and maybe we'll have to look a bit deeper and fish slower?

My bro has his cottage up there are you in a boat or shore lining it and what are you trying to get . I'm going to say very slow from passed experience iv had in the passed that's who reason I haven't been up yet scogg is starting to a lot betteright want to go to port this weekend and let sturgeon warm up a bit more.

Going by boat, after Walleye & Crappie. I think we're gunna have to try finesse fishing with some small plastics. I've read that vertical jigging will keep your lure in the "strike zone" more often, since in the cold weather the fish won't want to move much to chase down a lure.
