Went fishing today with Longshank, Xiaolu, & Backwoodsmanbob. Good action on the lake with a mixed bag of trout and salmon. A variety of spoons did the magic, although orange was the hot colour of the day. James landed a nice bow around 8lbs and a matching Salmon. I landed a couple of small bows and a shaker salmon. Not sure of exact numbers of fish hooked, Lost way too many fish today, but still a fantastic day of fishing with the guys. Definitely Longshank has them dialed in out there..
Cheers & Happy Fishing!
Jerry

I don't know where to begin

First of ll it was great to get you guys out and it was a very relaxing trip to say the least.

As far as size and numbers of fish, I thought it was kind of on the low side. Part of that was my falt for setting up in the wrong place, but I did wish to get away from all the other boats. I thought for sure we would have a double digit day at least with much bigger fish as well.

You guys had me laughing with the antics for a few hours....can I say a sever case of the dropseys

Bob, you wer a class act siting ther patiently waitng for that rod to fire, which it did, but no solid hookup. (has some of that M. meat for dinner.............mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We'll do this again next year no doubt....perhaps a bit earlier

Again, thanks for coming out and tal all, thanks for a fun season on the big lake.

I'm going on vacation again for 2 weeks and then fish off the season till October and then start the river fishing.

Jerry, are you sure your digital camera's colour (white balance, etc) setting is quite right?:-) Looks a bit more on the yellowish side...

Thanks for the great day out there Shank. Witnessed many new fishing techniques, none of which I will be using soon and it would have been nice to get a hookup on that fly rod. Was great to meet you guys and maybe again or on the hard water. Glad you enjoyed the meal.

Hey James, you're right my pics look a little yellow toned, I'll check my camera. I'm sure there's a colour balance somewhere.
