I headed out to Scugog on Monday and absolutely hammered the panfish. First I went to the boat launch and caught about 40-50 tiny bluegill and perch on the fly. Then i headed out to ceserea and had just the same luck but keepers, fish ranging from 7-11 inches. One big perch and around 12 big sunfish. Then tried casting for walleye off the pier and had a couple of hits. All around a fun day.

The Pumpkinseeds were also plentiful on Chemong yesterday. I spent a couple of late afternoon hours at Bridgenorth and probably caught 25-30 fish. A few small perch, one rock bass and a juvenile largemouth added to the list. Everything was released. They may not be big, but for a while, I was getting a bite on every cast and that makes for a fun time.
