Has anyone on the form ever fished Canal Lake, I was thinking about giving it a try.
Just wondering what the fishing was like, any info would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Has a good number pike in it can be great action at times, some real nice bass I know there's walleye never caught any but see the locals fish the channel. Also crappie in there some where.

I have fished, but caught more hammer handle musky than pike. Lots of Bass. Only place I had luck was the main channel but later in the year has too much boat traffic to fish and also fills up with weeds pretty quickly making it hard to navigate and fish unless your top water fishing. Even top water can become a challenge later in the year.

Was just there on Sunday. Very good lake for Pike and Bass. Later in the summer it gets harder to catch any, lots of boat traffic and weeds by then. A buddy of mine caught 3 big OOS largemouth Bass. Took some pics and let them swim.
For pike, they can be found trolling down the center of the lake at this time
