So I was at Rice Lake for the Memorial Day weekend and may I say I liked it a lot.!!! We arrived at Rice Lake on the 23rd of May went out on the lake and got a few good hits, then it rained a little. Went back to cottage waited then went back out. My cousin hooked into a nice 14.5" walleye, myself nothing. The 24th went out in the morning had some hits landed a out of slot walleye but to small so back it goes. Then went back in to the cottage met my friend at cottage, got him settled then went back out drifting and jigging right between Long Island and Cow Island more towards Cow Island and landed this 21" walleye took pic and back she went. The following day I was on fire I caught a total of 4 walleye but only 2 were keepers and landed 2 really nice size perch and a crappie. In short I thought Rice lake was really good fishing can't wait for next year!!!!
Oh the perch was clean didn't see any worms or bugs on then at all!!!!!!!!!!!
