I really thought that the days of just killing and wasting a fish were in the past.
Is a fish less valuable because you don't want to eat it?
2 sides to that coin. the term "wasting" fish in an opinion. for example people like me who never catch and keep could say that those who keep fish are "wasting" them as they could have vary easily bought them from the store.
in eating a fish u r using it for what benefits you. in using it for other purposes that benefit u, y is that different so long as you are doing it within the boundaries of the law.
Fish are actually becoming a big problem for other fish in many lakes.
not saying anyone is right or wrong. just saying there r different ways 2 look at the situation.

Is there a difference?
hahah good analogy as yes that would be "more wrong" as bass is a more targeted species.
someone posted that any discarding of fish is prohibited so i guess that makes it all equally wrong
