Have mk 65 thurst all terrain and loss power to 3 and 4 not sure why
Any thoughts??

Check your battery with Volt meter . May needs to be replaced . Only last 3-4 Years depending on the Battery. Also check to see if there are any corroded wires . Male and Female ends can also be checked at the same time to see if there is any sign of them being heated up or melted . If this is not the problem take it apart and check everything internal . Bushings , Motor ....

If I understand correct, you have 5 speeds on that unit, speeds 1, 2 , and 5 work normally? If so, do they seem to have their proper operating thrust on each speed setting? or do 1 and 2 have the same thrust for example.

What is the serial number of your unit?

I think the issue is the speed switch but I cannot guarantee this so far.

I had the exact same issue on my old trolling motor.

My guess was it was a loose connection so I took it apart..... I couldn't find the issue. In the end, I gave up and bought a new one.

Thanks haven't had time to look..been out of town... went thew a motor guid on Saturday 1 and 2 went and replaced with spare to fish Sunday had 3 and 4 gone on it .. Pretty it's the switch thanks for sharing

Found a new with box off display boat never used a 70 maximum for $600 hoping its still around on Friday lol
