Had only a few hours to fish Saturday morning. Headed out to a small back lake in the Peterborough area. This little body of water does get some local pressure but still produces some big buckets. Caught 8 largies in 3 hours, usually do a bit better even over a short time. Had 2 well over 3lbs and this one that went 4lb3oz. My 3 biggest came flipping a Gambler Ugly Otter into some heavy mats, while some smaller fish were caught on soft Berkley swimbaits.

Nice one! Looking at the scenery behind you, looks like a perfect place to find bass! I wish i could bring my canoe out on a lake like that, nothing like that around here.

The only place i find bass are under the boats in front of my camp! lol

Nice going. Nothing beats fishing a back water lake.
