World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1687 Member No.: 414 Joined: February 26, 2011	I jumped at the chance to spend a night with my oldest son at Balsam Lake and go gator hunting. He called up with some great news that he was just hired as a Toronto Paramedic and wanted to get away before he starts. So I grabbed up a couple of celebration steaks and headed up for Thursday night. We fished all day from sunrise to 5 pm. I caught a small muskie which let us look at it and shook the hook off beside the boat and one gator. We had several follows a few perch and not a single bass. Had a great time, super relaxing until I got stuck in the road closure on the 400. Heres a couple of photos.
