I am heading up to Chemong this Saturday for a week. I will be at Redwing Cottages at the upper end of Chemong. How has the fishin been this summer on this lake? Any spots would help.

Buckhorn has been good to me. I have got in to a couple real nice size fish over the past couple weeks. Local Buddies have said the fishing is starting to pick up now after a slow start. Overall numbers have been down for me but size has been up! Cheers

Rented a cottage on the north end of Chemong last year. Didn't fish the entire lake, but fishing wasn't great for adults. Super fishing for children or grandchildren for sunfish. Caught a few bass, nothing big. However, it's a very short boat ride to Buckhorn. If you have time to explore, I would check the south end of Chemong and Buckhorn Lake. Good luck and looking forward to your report.
