I am heading up to Chemong this Saturday for a week. I will be at Redwing Cottages at the upper end of Chemong. How has the fishin been this summer on this lake? Any spots would help.

I fished that end of chemong for a whole day last week. I believe all the fish in chemong have left the lake and went to either buckhorn or pigeon..

Good luck!

Buckhorn has been good to me. I have got in to a couple real nice size fish over the past couple weeks.
Local Buddies have said the fishing is starting to pick up now after a slow start.
Overall numbers have been down for me but size has been up!
Cheers

Rented a cottage on the north end of Chemong last year. Didn't fish the entire lake, but fishing wasn't great for adults. Super fishing for children or grandchildren for sunfish. Caught a few bass, nothing big. However, it's a very short boat ride to Buckhorn. If you have time to explore, I would check the south end of Chemong and Buckhorn Lake. Good luck and looking forward to your report.
