Hi, Guys and girls

My son and I went to Balsam lake last weekend. We have fished around Elysian Field area, but had no luck at all. That's my son's first trip to fish, he's disappointed. We decide to go again this weekend. Can anyone suggest any good spots for shore fish around the lake? Thanks
