We are planning to get out the first week of January. Fished every day I had off work this summer down at the docks and already going through withdrawal.

Hey Michelle, we managed to get out on Dymond again this summer but only for one day/fish as I had to cut my week short to fly back to Cape Breton to deal with family matters. We did pretty good with three nice walleye caught and we hit pike and smallie's consistently all day. Love this little lake
We are booked again with Idle Tyme/Bear Creek for some ice fishing again this year, we will be heading up your way from Jan. 22nd to 25th.

Always excited about another winter on ice.
For all those of you that have concerns of the walleye limits, why not change things up? The North West end of Nipissing is all about Pike in the winter, ask us locals we know! Since the limit on Pike is 4 per person and the average catch is 4 to 8 pounds. That's not only a great fish fry but also a chance to pull out a serious gators! Add some jumbo Perch to that and you have some great opportunities to have a super time.

Glad you were able to get on that lake. I didn't get out there last year. Spend every day off fishing the Gov Dock in north bay. 5 min from the house..can't beat that.. Kept pike as pickerel limits made it hard to keep lots. We are not sure when we are booking yet with idle. We did buy a really nice propane heater and starting to buy windows to build a bunker shack in the spring for next year.
The color of those pickerel out of Dymond always look great

Pure gold
This is starting to be one of my favorite lakes, so nice and quiet back there and you have the whole lake to yourselves.
