Hey everybody, this will be my first year ice fishing. I'm planning on coming up from Barrie because there really isn't anywhere here to catch walleye. Could anybody tell me whereabouts I should maybe go on the lake for a good shot at them. Also what time of day is best? I have been hearing that night time is best. I don't know how true that is but if somebody could give me some info that would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Allan

I think early morning to about 10 or 11 is best. If your out from sunset on lakeshore you will catch lots of jumbo perch with pickerel. Late afternoon is good till dark for me. Deep water is great for Pickerel. Go out callander bay.

Depends when your coming where the fish are biting. Are you walking out or using a outfitter?
