I used these same settings to about 50 feet. Shallower than that and it gets too messy. Found it perfect for 70ft.

Yes it does work for me up to over 130 FOW I fished. And if you then return to shallower water you might have to turn down/reduce sensitivity a bit (and similarly if you return to deeper water, you might have to bump up sensitivity)

I emailed Lowrance about "ice mode" and asked about what exactly does it do.. their reply and i quote:

When you select Ice Mode then the Flasher feature will be enabled and you will notice a battery indicator will appear under the Flasher. The Flasher provides real time returns so that you are able to detect targets very quickly.

I didn't recall the flasher showing up when i hit ice mode. So all this is doing is turning on Flasher and battery indicator lol. What a waste of time.
