My buddies and I have been going to Glen Echo on and off for the past 20 years. Scott and Chris are great owners. You will not be disappointed. I have never been ice fishing on Nip so I'm not sure if the hot spots are all the same; however, the fishing was awesome this past spring. We caught nearly 400 walleyes (only four were over the slot) during the week. Scott will be glad to put you on fish. We caught the majority of our walleyes on jigs- green and white;blue/white. Color really didn't matter but jigs with a small silver blade provided a flash and did out fish a plain jig. Enjoy your trip. Good luck.

Excellent operation by awesome people.
I rented from Scott for 6 years and the service is excellent.
No super huts so we eventually ventured out to the south shore.
Fishing is deffinetely better on the south shore but Glen Echo does a great job with everything.
When we went thru the week we were usually the only ones out there, always caught some fish and loved having Scott in for a cocktail.
Great operation and will deffinetely be back at some point when we have a smaller group. Early season is deffinetely better if you want to catch fish

Comes in waves, be ready !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
