Fished the Nott today, the water is still very high and dirty although better than early in the week..
Lots of debris coming down, branches, logs, leaves and other line snaggers, that coupled with those low flying ducks that send your rod a flying made for a watchful venture..
Fishing was just ok, went 4 for 5 , released one in net and a teenager, kept two for the smoker, seems our crowd want some for the holiday season (doubt it will last that long)..
Fishing floating bags , green and pink best , getting just a nice drift with the heavier current, had to be careful watch for debris..
On cleaning , one fish had neither spawn nor milt and was a little different coloration, about 4 lbs ??
Seems the fish are there but it is an obstacle course,,

Had planned to go and fish today, but we got 4 inches of snow last night and when I looked at the weather radar, streamers coming onto Wasaga Beach.
Decided I would stay home instead.
Might bake my Christmas fruit cake cookies instead. It is a good recipe and is the only baking I do. If anyone wants the recipe send me a PM or put up a post.
