Hey Everyone!!!

That time of year again and I can't wait to head up to Nip. I have been going for 5 years now with a couple of friends who I fish a ton with. This year we are bringing a group of guys where half haven't fished a whole lot. I'm looking to book with someone who is going to bring the most action. These guys aren't going to care if they hook in to a monster. I want to get these guys hooked on going up to nip so we can continue to go year after year. If any of the local guys/girls, or anyone here could give me any information it would be greatly appreciate. Previously I have stayed at Idle Tyme and Chilly Willy's.

Thank you and remember
Happiness is only a set hook away!

South Shore Ice Condos is fantastic. Garnett and Kara are top notch and will put you and your group of rookies on fish.

I've fished that lake my entire life and my weekend with SSIC last winter was the most action I've ever seen in one spot. 117 walleye out of our hut that weekend a few perch and a couple of pike.

If you have good people coming up with you, regardless of how many fish you catch or not, you are going to have a riot and your buddies will want to make it an annual trip!

Tight lines!

This will also be our 4th season with Shawn and Idle Tyme. great operator and always been on fish. Last season was one of our best seasons in at least 10 years. lots of Walleye, perch, ling and even white fish. great people and never a shortage of help.

Idle Tyme last year was unreal. Great guys, great fishing! We caught fish the minute we got in and even late at night around the card table. I would love to be there again but they don't have enough room for the size of group we have. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I have looked at anglers haven. Any reports there? I will look in to south shore as well thanks!

We went with Anglers Haven last year. Service was great and fishing was hit and miss but when we werethere it dropped to -25 so that probably messed fish up. Was still a good time and they always stopped by making sure we were good. Booked there again for Jan 5th

Another thumbs up for Idle Tyme. We've been going for a lot of years( and a few owners) but Shaun does it right. I highly suggest a bungalow. Once we started staying overnight on the ice the experience got even better. Just make sure you use the toilet at the bar in town before you go out on the ice. LOL
