Im booked again to head up there the first weekend and im excited. We caught a fair amount of walleye, but lost quite a few hookups. Do you guys use stinger hooks or anything? Thank you

First of all , make sure you leave a few for us. We are up there the week behind you.

I use stingers hooks from time to time but not always. depends on the bite and size of minnows.

I do use them when flipping a jig and minnow and now just make my own so the fit is bang on.

When using single hooks, key is size and laser sharp.

Good luck up there.

Swannie........we are up there Jan 5th.....

I like the early ice for fishing but I have been up later in season and like the extra daylight hours.

We compensate as we are old farts and need our sleep
