Predictions for ice thickness Jan 1st

if where at 7 to 8 inches of ice what do you folks think it could get

Looks like with the mild weather we are and will get this week, my best guess is about 12" So far we are much better of then last year. There were too many layers of slush, ice and water. Should be more towards the norm this time around.
