I really enjoyed staying in a bungalo on the ice. Lake trout during the day, ling as soon as it started to get dark. Feb 15th for Lake Trout opener I believe.

You can either go cottages and day huts or on ice bugalows.

John's is good and so is Mackie's

I will be with latter this year again.

x2 for mackie. personally, I like the cottage and day hut option. Later on in the season I lean towards the cottage and open ice run and gun. great fishing on some of the back lacks as well. good luck!

Mackie is Blue Havens owner operator. There is a link to his site at the top of the page. I'm not sure if he offers guiding to any back lakes, but he will point you in the right direction as he knows the area well.

Hello there. I have been going to loon lodge well over 10years. John and jen are great hosts. Fishing is really good if you follow lunar calendar dates. Wait for feb15 if you want to fish for Lakers. Season opens then.

Heading up in a couple days.
Planning on mostly fishing Cassels lake but may hit Temagami.
Staying right in Temagami.
I'll send a report on conditions & fishing.
