sorry I look at lots of posts from all over the forum but being from Niagara region I can't give you any insight into what your looking for and maybe that is the case of the other viewers of your question

Def took that into consideration Jim but to think the admin has done a great job of sorting the areas so if everyone is looking for info on the Niagara area in the Huron/GB section think they may have an issue lol ... My comment was made because I've noticed over the last 3 years the decline in advice and info being shared.....I understand people don't want to give locations and hunny holes away but to share the most basic of info has become a big ordeal now

Maybe most of those lookers are also looking for the same info & are not in the position to help you?
I live not far from there & next time I get over there I'll check out the rivers.
They should be fishable now. Upstream water levels have dropped down greatly from a while ago.

water levels have dropped and water crystal clear.
starting to see some slush appear.
have not been up much this year , but from all the guys i have talked too it seems to be a tougher year on numbers, could be from how late last spring went i dunno, could be a number of reasons.
hope this helps

Love to Help also,BUT,I haven`t even been up to the Maitland or the Bayfield River`s this Fall. The past year`s I would of had at least a half a dozen trip`s in by now.I am not a big Fan with crowd`s and never have been, but trying to fish through the week and seeing a crowd on some of the River`s has turned me off considerably!! Sorry for the Negative Rant, but I will try and give it a Go next week, and I will post a Report of my Day out on the River. Here`s hoping the Crowd is Low & the Fish are there and Biting!! Good Luck to All.

Just got back from the Maitland after 6 hours of fishing with no luck. Saw a couple of old Bow's but not interested in eating. Water is crystal clear and flowing slow for my liking. I just started steelhead fishing this year and this is the first time on the Maitland and this forum. I did have some good luck on the Geen a month ago but slowed down since. Looking for some advice for my next trip though.

Where on the Maitland where you? .... When the waters slow and clear I usually only run a bead tends to get some fish when they are spooked
