Last year I did well on chartreuse swedish pimples with minnow head. And lindy bugs with wax worms for perch. What does everybody else use with success.

Last year for us it was just about anything cartreuse with a minnow or just a hook and live minnow

Here's my secret weapon (shush don't tell anyone else). It's a Blue Fox Tingler. Remove the hook and add a size 11 swivel snap between the lure and hook. Slide the eye of the hook through the minnow's gill and out his mouth and reattach to the swivel. Pull back and put the hook through the minnows back. Works great!

Just a plain # 6 hook with small minnow hooked through dorsal fin. Works like a charm. Chum your hole with dead minnows. Loads of fish will come.

Last year I took my girlfriend and got her set up with a pink rod, tackle box ect. She also picked out a couple lures with all of them being pink. one was a sweedish pimple, and the other was a no name 2 inch long rattling jig also pink. tipped with shiners it seemed like she always had a fish on. I usually go with a chartreuse little cleo tipped and buckshots. Not sure if it was just luck of the draw with the pink but that seemed to work. Going to put them to the test this year. She stays at home this time so I can catch some haha

I bought these because of your recommendation. What do you stick them on a 1/8 or 1/16 Jighead?

For pickeral my go to is the pk flutterfish either in firetiger or red dot glow. 3/8 works best for me. Perch I like to use a tiny bloodworm about 1 1/4 long and just keep it vibrating.

We like to use small williams wablers tipped with a minnow head. For artifical bait, a Northland scud bug works well.
