I'm heading up to Minden in January. Going to fish Twelve Mile Lake and likely check out one or two surrounding lakes. Can anyone message me on lakes to try, I was thinking Kabakwa Lake, Maple Lake, Black Lake, Barnum Lake.

Twelve mile is good for Lakers but check the regs i think there's a slot size, apparently mountain lake just south of there has been stocked with rainbows. All I've ever caught in maple is Muskie and bass but you could try it for eyes , make sure you're careful out there a lot of those lakes have currents and thin spots good luck!!

Thanks for the update. Weather conditions appear to be getting colder over the next few weeks, hopefully things harden up for the January 10th weekend!

What are mooneye?
Drove by both lakes today. Didn't see much happening on the ice. Lots of water on the surface.
When drove by Miners Bay it looked miserable - all the huts closely packed and water over the surface.
