When you are driving into bancroft on hwy28 you pass the head mnr office on your left hand side just before you enter town. Stop in and ask them for the most recent stocking reports! They are free and there has to be 300plus little and big lakes stocked in the bancroft area with lakers, specks,Splakes. I have a few favorite but they all produce, the easier the lake is to get to the more fish they stock in it. Some of the back lake gems only get 800 or so but can hold some bigs ones. Good luck

Try using the MNR Fish on Line tool to do your search. Bait shop in downtown Huntsville sells hard copy maps of area and the proprieter is very knowledgeable
