With no snow on the lake and some good low temps coming It looks like the opener will not be a problem for the North West side of Nipissing. I would hazard to guess the rest of the lake should be fine too.

LET THE SEASON BEGIN. ITS GREAT TO HEAR THE HUTS ARE BEING SET UP. HALF OUR CREW ARE HEADING UP OPENING DAY (JUST FOR THE DAY) AND THEN BACK UP FOR OUR ANNUAL TRIP JAN. 15TH TO THE 18TH. AS ALWAYS WE ARE STAYING WITH SHAWN AND TERRA AT IDLE TYME / BEAR CREEK.
WE WILL POST OUR RESULTS ON THE OPENER SOON AFTER WE GET BACK.
DO YOUR THING JACK FROST. FREEZE IT UP WHILE THERE IS NO SNOW.

I'm out on the 5th with south river resort and talked to them today and its a go. Get the butter and the fry pan ready........ Oh yes lets not forget the beer and rum......
