you won't be disappointed. Bear creek is a very nice place and is run by a great outfitter. Have fun!

Was there last year for the opener and headed up there New Years day for three nights. Crushed them last year. Belly full of beer and fish. Great hosts to boot. Where do you usually go in Temegami? I've been going to Loon Lodge 10 plus years.

I agree with the two previous posts. Shawn runs a great operation. This will be our fourth year at Bear Creek/Idle Tyme. His crew will serve you well.

Great operation, been going for a lot of years. Spent the last few in the bungalows. Way better staying on the ice.

Best spot ever. Shawn is fantastic. Huts are always where there is fish. Last year between 2 of us caught 49 walleyes in 3 days from 12 to 28 inches in size. Lots of jumbo perch as well.

Always have great luck with them!!!

As for opening day, I'll be there with two huts from January 1st to the 4th. If you want to try and meet for a pop, PM me a cell number and I can send you a text when we're out there. I'm not going hut to hut looking for board members....lol

I'll find you then, thanks.

You should have sent the number in a private message.....now the "whole world" has your number.

Wouldn't want you to end up with a bunch of spam or BS sent to your phone.

And if I ask Shawn for the location of the Pickerel Hunters, who's to say he doesn't just point to every hut on the lake? Isn't that what everybody is hunting??

See ya out there,
John
