Definitly a trophy house cat! Both the Lynx & Bobcat have short tails. Almost like they were docked at birth.

i know it looks like a house cat
but let me add some more info

the weed behind the cat is 30" tall

i have spoke with all of my neighbors. none have a cat or have seen one. between 4 of us we have over 2000' of road frontage with 6000 acres across the street and 300 acres between us.

i know it looks like a house cat but wtf is it doing fat in the bush in the middle of nowhere
lol

i know its not a linx or a bob but interesting nontheless

I agree with the others, that is a big house cat, it has probably just traveled a distance, I know person who's cat has gone outside to later be found at a friend's house that is located on the other side of the town.

Based on your photo the cat shows no muscular definition. Again, small paws. Big &T^%R whatever it is. Critters in the wild are built to survive. This one looks like it has an account at Tim Horton's. As I wrote earlier I have a mounted lynx and when I compare it with your photo, nothing makes sense. Big cat, yes. Tiny paws. Your photo, hips are not pronounced or elevated.
One of my "outlaws" brought over 2 cats when she stayed at our home while we were going to PEI. Cats were giant, almost, no, ^%$%^^& scary. We had to put our cat in a kennel before they ate her.

Like I said, say "Here kitty kitty" and let all know who is prowling around your house.
