Thanks Dan and Melissa for another great time on nippissing. Mike, Caydence and I had a great time. We were a lil tired though no sleep at all and blizzard like squalls from orillia all the way to just after Trout Creek. stopped at Billy Bobs grabbed some bait ( they have lotsa shiners and pinheads) and hit Sunset point to meet ya. Fishing was great not as hott as last 2 openers but still caught over 30 eyes kept none all released, not alot of perch under us but the guys beside us did pretty good with perch and eyes. they lost a big pike at the hole also. I also love your location on the lake just gotta get out once inbetween the islands it's been quite a few yrs since I have been right off the islands always did well there. All in all it was another great day on nippissing thanks for the day and the awsome hospitality with good conversation I will see you two soon have a great week and the drive back was even worse it took us almost 6 hrs when it takes 4 usually oh what fun lotsa b####in good thing Caydence was sleepin lol. REMEMBER A LOUSY DAY FISHING IS BETTER THAN A GREAT DAY AT WORK. I would post pics but the camera got soaked during the thaw of the hut a curtain tended to retain a little water and dripped on to my camera hence why i forgot it above the heater on a shelf lol i'll get it from ya later lol.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you guys had a good time and good fishing. Too bad the driving weather sucked.

We are glad you guys had a great time. The perch were hitting better today. A lot of walleye in the 14- 16 inch range. No big pike but a few ling and herring. I have you camera at the house. See you soon!

Looking forward to heading up with you guys in a 3 weeks or so.

Can someone recommend a bait shop along the drive up that will have emerald shiners? I'm coming in from a few hours south of GTA.
