Hey guys made a trip in from Bowmanville today fished from 10am until 6pm and caught 6 eyes. all under 15. any tips on time of day, lure color, location etc. Been throwing chartreuse tinglers, grubs and vertical jigs. What water depths are you guys having success in?
we fished an area near bear Creek. 20' of water on a sharp break.

Been fishing at Bear Creek for past 4 years. Give this a whirl. No lure. Place a bell sinker on bottom of line and set up a plain #6 snell hook about 2 inches up above your sinker. Move up and down a few times here and there. Make sure minnow is live and most important, chum your holes with all your dead minnows. Cut in half so minnow sinks to bottom. You can add another snell hook higher that your first hook. I've hit many doubles last year. Plus caught a 9 pounder 28 inch last year on this. No flashy lure or complicated rig. Plain hook and sinker.
