I checked the bay this morning. Unsafe ice and still open water on some shore and in the middle. It's gonna take time!
The barrie marina and west shore has been frozen for some time but I wouldn't venture anywhere on it.
Meanwhile cooks bay should be a go has I stooped and drilled a hole a Gilford. 4 inch of ice.

To save everyone the trouble of driving up to kempenfelt I will do a report on the popular area after the cold weather tomorrow. Hopefully the winds don't destroy the little ice we have in some spots.

Just drove by K bay. Been watching and waiting all week. Last night seems to have been cold enough to give a light top over the deeper part of the bay. The bay meets city area looks solid and I suspect someone will test it this weekend.

to late bbp and bp opened up again was there before dark almost broke my Heart!! :no:hopfully cold tonight will close her up again..e
