Im really hoping to make a trip up to nipissing this winter with my buddy and most of the outfitters I have checked out have bungalows for 4-6 people at around 150$ a person..

Anybody know of somewhere that would be smaller to accomodate 2 people and less price I would hope for just 2

Thanks

Most of all outfitters are between $150 and $200 per person for the weekend. That is in a ice bungalow with minnows included. 2 nights Friday to Sunday.

If anything 2 people would have to pay more as the rates are based on full occupency. That being said nothings written in stone and if an operator has something available 2 is better then 0.

I have never stayed with an outfitter I just figured it would be a cool experiences staying on the ice but maybe it's a better idea to just stay in a motel/hotel, I have an atv and all the gear maybe that's a better idea? I have never been to nipissing just figured We would be on more fish with an outfitter..
Cost really isn't an issue

Mark and I did the overnight for fun in north bay and it cost us just over $300 total for both of us for two nights during the week. It was totally worth it

We just came back. We stayed with Lake Nipissing Ice Fishing Charters (Diane and Derek Young). They had a couple 2 man sleeper huts. Might want to check them out. We caught over 100 pickerel while we were there.

Ok we are going with an outfitter..For those of you that have done this before would it be a good idea for me to bring my atv( I know they trasport you) but I would rather have it if needed then not...

Sorry for all the questions but like I said I'm use to going alone not with an outfitter

Thanks

My best advice for staying in an overnight hut is to grab a bottom bunk if there is upper & lower bunks.
That's unless you prefer sleeping in a sauna.
