How long are you around for? I'm going to be here until next Sunday. I'll go wherever my two feet can take me. I just have to remember I have to walk off the lake at the end of the day lol

QUOTE (Cranman @ Jan 01, 2015 - 03:46 pm)
Stool on the ice as we approach dusk. Fishchaser and I started at 6 am. Caught about 30 walleye, 8 perch. All walleye around 15-17 inches
Hey Cranman, looks like you and Fishchaser are starting off right where you left off last year. Thanks for the pics and report, looking forward to you guys posting pics of some of those big guys like last year. You have to validate the cost of all that gear in the background.

BIGFILTHY, Fish4ever and I had a great day on the Nip (after a 3-1/2 hour drive from the Barrie area) Once again Shawn from Bear Creek put us on top of the fish. We reeled in 4 perch, one herring and about 30 walleye, most in around the 15-17" mark and a few smaller but unfortunately none over the 18.1" requirement 😩. Shawn did come over to brag (I mean show lol) us a beauty 25" that his buddy had just caught. All in all it was the best opening day ever for the three of us. Can't wait to head back up in two weeks for our 4 day weekend in the 8 man ice bungalow.
