I used them all last season…no cracks. These buckets are more rubbery than brittle. They are food grade buckets from a wine maker. I know the kind your referring to, the hard plastic ones from Home Depot or hardware store. The strength comes from the way you cut the back rest…I broke a bunch before I discovered this one.
