Trophy Trout Group: Members Posts: 539 Member No.: 209 Joined: February 14, 2011	Heard today there is 2-4 inches and it isn't consistant.. Would recommend waiting a bit for it to harden a little more. The snow we got is acting like an insulator and not freezing the slush as of yet.

but that does not mean the whole area is 5-7 inches. Just be careful when out there

Smolt Trout Group: Newbies Posts: 157 Member No.: 7897 Joined: January 03, 2015	sorry,i should have clarified better,i stayed to the mid-east side and was about halfway out,maybe a bit less...i didnt want to take any chances but in that area,the holes i drilled were pretty far apart...i bet there will be at least 2" of ice in my hole tomorrow

I don't know why as the ferry wasn't there (may have been at the island), and there was heavy ice in the channel. Check my pictures from my posting today.
