Jan 6th, Callander Bay Report

A few buddies and I walked out to the ridge-line and set up in 14-19 feet of water.

Only stayed from 11-3, but managed 20-25 walleye all around 14 inches, 4 perch, and a whitefish/cisco.

All on minnows, mostly tip-ups with a few coming on white jigs.

Approx 10 inches of ice where we were.

All in all great day of fishing, with pretty solid action throughout!

Not to be an uppity fisherman, but whitefish are whitefish and cisco are herring. Nice haul of fish btw.

Yea ldup, haven't caught too many whitefish OR cisco in my day, so the / was more of a "not sure what it was"

No worries dude just trying to be helpful. Best way I identify them is by the bottom feeder month on a whitefish.
