Hey Guys, Thinking of renting a cottage with some friend on McTaggart Lake in the Parry Sound district on June 11 for 4 or 5 days. Trying to see what fish are in this lake. As bass is still not opening wondering if Pike are in here or other in season species. I look up the lake fact sheet and there is nothing about fish in this lake.

Go to the mnr website. Will show you a map and you can click on whichever lake you want. Will show you whats in the lake, and rules and regulations for that zone. Will also show you boat launches.

O.K. I looked up the map to see where that lake was and I found it. For the last 30 years, that lake only had a small path going to it except for the old Motel access. I always considered it a Snapping Turtle pond.
In my opinion,if anything ,it will hold Bass and panfish.
As the guy living at the old motel. I believe his name is Brian.
