Been with Scott at chily willys for 10 Yrs now. Always been good fishing. Some Yrs better than others. And BTW he's located in south shore not callander bay. We'll be up there on the 18th.

How was the ice road out to the Chilly Willy huts? I have a Chevy Cruze with winter tires but it is quite low to the ground. Will I be able to take it out there?

Sounds like good reviews for Scott. I am planning on heading up there this year for the first time later this month. Hope the fish are still biting.

I would not recommend bringing a car like that out there. I don't know what the current conditions are out there but once you get that car out there and a squall rolls through you may never get it off again.

Just my 2 cents

Yes, but if he does drive it out when he get's home he can tell all his buddies he went to Chilly Willy's and got a "towjob"

So I assume the roadway to the huts is not plowed after each snowfall?

What about a 2 wheel drive Ford Escape?

My buddy just let me know he heard from Scott and there is lots of snow and that if you don't have a good 4x4 not to drive out. He can't take us out before 12 so I will have to find something to do in the morning as I am staying in a North Bay hotel Wednesday night.
