Sorry to hear that. You may also want to find someone who could sew in new windows. We had that done on a boat canvas. I also got a tear in a window on our ice hut and as a quick fix, I used clear packing tape and surprisingly it has held up quite good and lasted all of last season. Make sure the vinyl is room temperature when you do this.

Fortunately the windows are removable and i can keep the broken one in place with the black out shade until i can figure out an economical way to get more shipped. Don't need 4 windows open at once anyway. More important is finding a good cover for it quickly. No one seems to sell here in canada, and as i transport the sled on my roof, i really need extra protection to keep this sort of issue from happening again. Short term fix i have a thin tarp over, but even from just doing 3/4 of the drive home saturday it is already starting to wear.

I bought same hut cant wait to use it lol, sold my 2 man flipover to try this one, my main reason is this thing doesn't have to be taken down to move! Did some mods already bolted some skis to bottom for some clearance, and mounted some removable wheels so when I walk its an easy pull when there is no snow. Is that reflux insulation on the roof? Great fish BTW!!!

just a bit of frost/condensation from heater with really cold winds on the roof.
Hope you like it as much when you get it out. I have to finish building my smitty as that will def help with the pulling. Even in Saturday's huge winds, moving it setup I never felt like it was going to tip over. It was along side me instead of behind me a few times, but was staying straight on the ice.
Learn from my mistake though, if you will be transporting it outside with any vehicle, make sure you have a cover over it so the wind can't get in and thrash the cover about.

Thanks Elrik, I just keep it strapped to back of my quad as I live in Innisfil its just a short trip to the lake, if ice is too thin for machine I will put it back of pick up, and drag by hand out to lake. You are right I didn't see any covers at BPS,but for my type of transport I think I will be fine, just have to remember the moth balls at end of season lol, tight lines.
