Oro Beach 7th Line Access, Access and parking

Does anyone know if there is parking and access for the lake at Oro Beach (7th line)?

I checked there today. There was one person out in a portable fishing on maybe 50-6-fow I estimate from where I stood on shore.

You park on the road well above the access to the lake. Look for the signs.

The pines still do huts and or storage? my cottage was there and remember they had lots of huts.

Steve Chillman who owns what is left of The Pines does not rent huts anymore.

He does store huts however.

His father Tom, who is gone now, bought the place in the probably the late 60's and between them they rented huts up until about the late 2000's. A few bad years in a row and Steve gave it up.

I remember fishing off there with may father in the early 60's before the Chillmans came on the scene.

Look in the vintage pictures and you can see picture of a very young SDC with some fish.
