OK, so the ice is good and we are seeing so good cold weather this week.

i am going out this Sunday with my son in law for Lakers off the 30th.

Me, Grey Rapala suit, smitty sled and new Rapala Thermal using the residents parking spot.

Who else will be out?

Feel free to say hi and asks for tips n tricks fellow fisherfolks.

I live in alcona and just wondering if there are any good spots for lakers or whitefish out of alcona that I can walk out to. I would be willing to walk out pretty far to get a nice catch.

May be out possibly, but the kids want to go out in the New clam hut and want to catch fish. May just go to 9th line or something. If I do I will pop by and say hi since I'm still new to this and wouldn't mind a few pointers.

Good luck and smash those Lakers.

I stopped by the boat launch at the end of Oro 9th line this afternoon. There is ice as far as you can see but nothing safe right in at shore at the launch. Hopefully, it will firm up in the next couple of days.

Your parking pass will give you access to lake side parking at the gov docks at the end of the 30th on big bay point neighbour.

If you don't drive, then walk ourt from IBP. You will see the huts.

go to the navionics website, web app if you are not familiar with the lake there.
Many lakers and such caught there, but is a heavy walk out.

I am seeing a few days of nice ice making weather, fingers crossed.
