I prefer the small locals. I shop big box for big items on sale. But majority is bait bucket , catch ya later, huronia bait. Remember cabelas, sail and the others aren't open at 6 am to get u on your way with bait and tackle and starting the day off right!

Regards, ff

TCO right around the corner from Bass Pro.

Better hours the best bait and like I said, you shop there once and you WILL become a regular.

For better directions call the store and they will gladly help.

Trombleys here in Orillia is a nicely stocked store for its size and have always found staff helpful and friendly...Ron

Bass pro and cabelas to me seems to have everything in the world except what i am looking for. Ct usually has exactly what im looking for and i can always find something to buy the gf while im there so i dont get in trouble for "blowing" my money on gear which is why ct gets my vote. That being said i always try and spread my love to the little guys too...epps, wolfs den and the bait bucket in particular.

Definitely not tsc stores. They advertise good deals but I can never find anything in stock. Other than that I belive a good 90% of my ice gear has come from ct.

Angling outfitters in Woodstock is a great store! Fishing world.. Real time sports is also good. But if I had to choose a big name store it would be BP for selection

I like Trombleys. Prices generally a few points higher, but excellent customer service, and I've never had any problems with returns.. Bob is the man to see. I'd rather my money stay in the community then head south to the USA.

I'd say lebarons they also price match and great people there, there prices are better and there always having sales.they also carry top shelf tackle vs generic lures that are nock offs .sail is another place I go to for tackle,ct tire r u serious there lures r a lot more expensive than the box stores .

I prefer Sail as I am a Rapala fan, and find they actually restock their shelves.

BassPro for clothes and hardware like tackle bags

CTC, depending on the location but they have good pricing and sales.

I have stopped into Dufferin Outdoors a couple of times and really like the staff and their selection is pretty good.
So far the only place to find the clear plastic swivels, which work GREAT!
