Nottawasaga Bay Report-Dec. 1st, Includes up date on the Notty

Nice day to be out-calm offshore winds.

Fished my usual from shore spot on the West side of the Bay.
Dirty water due to a water course that flows in nearby--mud line about 1000ft from shore. Water so murky, hard to see to walk out and cast.
Had the place to myself until 8:30 when another fisherman came along.
He had been at Meaford and said it was like trying to fish in "chocolate pudding"!
He caught a nice 7lb Steelhead about an hour later and that was the only hit either of us had. I left at 1PM.
I tried salmon spawn, rainbow, brown and blown worms. Nothing worked.
Driving home, crossed the Notty at Edenvale and it is dirty and over its banks.
Must be worse closer to the mouth.

I'd Imagine the water close to shore is probably dirty right now...

The river is going to be hurting for a while, so may go for one last troll out there this weekend if the winds are decent.

Thanks for the fishing report and conditions on the Notty. I drove by the Saugeen and the water is high and dirty also.
