Watch the youtube video and clean up the heater , that should fix your problem.

Forget the purging, I do that with bigger 50 lb tanks.

Anyone with problems with buddy heaters let me know I am lic gas fitter and have repaired a pile of them some parts are same as we get for fireplaces ect and after taking a few apart there easy located in kawartha lakes area just pm me

I have problems with my Lil Buddy staying lit but it more seems to be related to the 1lb propane tanks freezing.

I've raised it off the ice, I've kept the heat going high, going low, put a sock over the tank, yet it still get covered in frost and loses pressure. The only solution seems to be repeatedly changing the tanks, warming up the frosted ones until the in-use on freezes. Then repeat.

[B]Is this a common experience?[B]

And for the record, I don't heat the frosted tanks, just let them thaw with the ambient heat in the hut.

Always find when im using the 1lbrs on my coleman stove the outside of the tank freezes very quickly, but i never lose pressure or anything like that. Maybe contact mr.heater? See what they have to say

If you bought it from a canadian tire or walmart or any other big box store, theyl usually let you exchange it without a receipt. So if all fails id try that, worst case scenario they say no but i doubt it
