Was thinking of hitting Belwood on Monday morning. Just wondering if you know the best spot to park near the dam. PM me if you like...

i just walk down boat lunch then walk on a angle to the right out to centre of lake 30 -35ft centring my self with the damn. i had to move around a bit but stay in that general area. every day is different out there but i no the fish are there and don't have to walk to the point to get them so its a bonus that the perch are now down here. the eyes are too. i have a cottage on the lake we have bin on the lake for over 20 years. i always get them by the damn in winter and summer. but like i said every day is different some times their there other times you have to work for them.

Awesome catch!! Good job!!

Right now out in the middle is around the 25ft deep….give or take 1 or 2 feet.

The water level is at its lowest this time of year.

Here is a great link to see where the water level is at.

Compare June/July to now….see it how it goes down?

That's the challenge with fluctuating water levels.

Last year I spent 90% of my time on Simcoe. This year its the reverse…I spend my time on Belwood. I enjoy the challenge since, with help from members here, I think…..I think I may have figured out Simcoe….well, kinda! Lets just say my Skidoo has made that happen for Simcoe….lol. Now I study Belwood….lol. Yeah I know, freak!!! I enjoy the thrill of the hunt just as much as catching!

Check out the link!

Good luck and have fun, always!!

Cheers
