Slow day for us. Knuguy got 2 small ones on minnows, I had 2 hits on minnows--no hookups and Allan didn't get a sniff. I also had 1 bump on a small spoon.
Others around us were getting the odd fish and we could see some fish moving through on the sonar.
Walking conditions are not good unless you have a frozen snowmobile trail to follow.
Foot of snow with 6 inches of slush under that.
Cold day, but little or no wind, so not a bad day to be out.

That's surprising. They were very willing for us at our location today. Keep at it, they seem to school up at times and it's feast or famine. Beats being at work anyways!

Fishin fan is right on the money with the schooling up comment. I was out on Monday with a friend and we kept having droughts with no marks and then all of a sudden the vex would start to come alive. We would have multiple active fish between the two of us following up and down hitting or not. My tip up flag would go up 25 yards away as well. The vex calms down again and we would sit with no action another bit until the next "wave" as I call it came through.
