We have been fishing in Jordan Harbour recently and have been marking big fish up high in the water column at about 5ft circling in and out. We have tried to target these fish but have had no luck. Does anybody have an idea on what these fish are?

could be brown trout / rainbow trout. Next time look down the hole! Close the windows in ur hut and look down its only 5ft below u(if u have one).... ice was sketchy in areas out there past the docks...be careful. Try a black/ silver jigging shad or rap. or a silver danielson...

I sure hope not, that would be embarrassing But It can't be weeds every time because we have been able to get them to give chase and have even played cat and mouse with one for five minutes but just never hooked up.

If you cant see the fish, maybe its just your finder being wacky. The harbour isnt very deep and can usually see the bottom without any issues. I feel like you would have seen the fish?

Nice Pike, there are a few big ones in there for sure, as for the marks, could be anything from carp to trout. My friends all use camera's now and see everything from Lake Carp cruising around to big Rainbow, Browns ,Pike and Channel Cats. These marina's off Lake O have numerous species hanging around even in the winter months.

use the camera, it's perfect for these area's the water is super clear in the marinas, it is one of the only places where a camera can out perform a flasher
