FYI it was 1000+ pike they took out of mountsberg...the dam was spilling over the top due to the high water levels from melting snow- they did get over the dam and were all trapped in that little stream below. Saw them in person it was insane!
Fishing there was phenominal like 10 years ago we would catch 15-20 pike each and 5-10 bass in a day. Past few years has been very very poor in comparison... Also taking the canoe out after July is so hard the weeds come up to the surface and it's pretty much a swamp!

I hear you on the water spilling over saw it myself but I was there early February the dam was frozen to the top no water was spilling over and i did see quite a number of pike in creek. Now the could be there all the time but saying that there was a lot. They did a lot of work on the dam last summer do you know why.

Any photos or video? Would be interesting to see.

I did have more pictures of that week the water was flowing over the dam. In this picture you can see the pike in the stream.

I just read that article on Saturday thanks. It reads the fish were pushed out of the reservoir. those catfish it seems had the same situation. I was there in the fall and the water level was very low. I was thinking that can not be good!. I may take a drive there on the weekend if any one wants to meet there let me know.
