Whats the biggest fish on simcoe?

Ive never landed one, but am positive i had one on rigging in the niagara river one day. As much as i could lift this thing off the bottom, it would just peel line like butter right back down. I was younger at the time, and remember giving the rod to my old man and he ended up cutting it because it kept dragging us over to the U.S side and we didnt have U.S fishing licenses. Together we fought it for about 35minutes. Think we managed to get it about 15-20ft off the bottom, if that. Would of been incredible to land that fish. But having a story of the one thay got away keeps you going back.

Anybody ever think the possibility that a big fish was snagged and seems like you have a monster

This just tears me apart when this happens while steel line trolling
