That is a nice fish, and glad you released it. A caution to the members. If a fish gets off your hook, or breaks your line, you are NOT entitled to landing it by hand, or net. It is ILLEGAL at that point. It has to have the hook in it's mouth. You are far better off hearing this from me, than a C.O. Don't want to rain on your parade, just so you know. And it is a nice looking fish.

Are you considering hand lining? If not refer to page 8, and cross reference to page 11 2015 fishing regs. Generally speaking the only fish you can catch using methods other than angling are course fish, and that is restricted to spear, bow, and arrow, net, or trap. Fishing for Carp, Smelt, Sucker, and the like. Still nothing to indicate you can reach into the water, and grab them. Just cause you see it on Hillbilly Handfishing doesn't mean you can practise it here. They also say "Do not try this at home" Look into it, by all means, just don't want to see you in trouble.
